ENGLISH THEATRE AT INSTITUT XXV OLIMPÍADA IN BARCELONA
A few days ago our students had the opportunity to take part in a theatre activity in English offered by CLEVER PANTS, a theatre company of native English-speaking actors.
To start with, 1st and 2nd Year ESO enjoyed participating in an action-packed interactive adventure inspired in the British murder-mystery novel The 39 Steps by John Buchan, in which some students could dance Scottish dances or be the queen of England for a few minutes.
As for Batxillerat and 4th Year ESO students, they took part in a very peculiar horserace for the ultimate comic revision of a classic of Russian literature: Anna Karenina by Tolstoy, a passionate story about love, loyalty and loss. The result: a dynamic theatrical and linguistic experience and a fun and motivating immersion in English. Many thanks to James Humber and CLEVER PANTS.
